Jerome Robins is, without question, a key figure in the Canadian dance scene. Jerome is primarily known for being an owner of Release Records, one of the world's finest record shops with an impeccable Global reputation for servicing the world's top DJ's. In 2001, Jerome progressed into studio production. From this, the pseudonym "Oxygen" was born. His co-written tracks entitled "Troubled Souls" & "Inside Me" have received loads of play within the progressive & house circuits with both being licensed to several compilations, namely Deep Dish's Global Underground #25 - Toronto. In addition, Jerome put his touch on remixes “This Is Miami,” a top 40 dance record on Sander Kleinenberg’s Little Mountain imprint. Jerome has also done remix work for Release Records, Release Grooves, Whoop! Records (London), Stereo Recordings (Spain), Lost Language (London), BluFin (Germany), Curvve Records (New York City) as well as original tracks for his own X-Series imprint, O Recordings (Miami), Curvve Records, Baroque Records (UK) and of course Hi-Bias. Despite this challenging work schedule between Release Records, studio time & his DJ residencies, Jerome now finds himself in demand as an international DJ with bookings coming from across the globe including gigs in Canada, the U.S. & Mexico, Central & South America & Europe. |
