Darren Tate Biography
As a classically trained musician, Darren has earned his reputation as one of Europe's leading producers, having worked with a wide range of international artists and writers. He is also currently one of the worlds most successful dance producers, having had huge international hits under the aliases Jurgen Vries, Angelic and most recently DT8.
Darren has collaborated with a huge array of top artists and writers, such as the likes of Charlotte Church, Judge Jules / Amanda O'Riordan, Victoria Horn, Rob Davis, Ayumi Hamasaki, ELT, Ultra Nate, Andy Morris, Marcella Woods, Above and Beyond, Kenny Thomas, Lady Black Smith Mombazo, Sasha Putnam, Mike Koglin, Danielle Davoli (Black Box), Rohan Heath, Mick Jackson, Danny Kirsch, Erire O'Bano, Blue Amazon, Fragma, Roxanne Wilde, Shena McSwee (JX), DJ Encore feat. Engelina, David James, Prime Mover and More Kante.
Darren also has an ever growing reputation as one of the worlds premiere DJs, where his blend of house, hard house and progressive has been causing a huge stir in the dance community. This year alone Darren will be DJing extensively across South Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and America. Darren will also be playing at top club nights such as Passion, Peach, Euphoria, Ministry of Sound, Cream and Judgement Sundays @ Eden (Ibiza), including international festivals such as Lovefields in Holland. In addition, he continues to host his regular show on ID&T radio Holland, and has recently made other appearances on other leading radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Beat 106.
