Taras “Lift Off” – this highly anticipated debut full-length album features modern House grooves that set the scene for the sound of Club music in 2006.
The Taras project, comprised of Winnipeg based wunderkind producer Taras Harkavyi, established Dance music veteran Nick Fiorucci, and features the vocal talent of Denise Dwyer aka Moccachild, Carlo Coppola and Suzi Prazeres.
Since his signing with Hi-Bias Records, the young producer has been honing his sound and gaining acclaim with high profile production and remixing work for several artists including Britney Spears singles “Everytime” and “Someday”, Michelle Branch, Kimberly Locke, Sherrie Lea, and Aluna
Inspired by the French House stylings of Daft Punk, Taras’ modern take on club music is both refreshing and unique. The first single “I Love You”, described by European DJs as “a peak time groover” was a top ten track on the Canadian club charts, while burning up the European Dance charts and playlisted #1 by none other than DJ Mag’s choice for #1 DJ in the world, Paul Van Dyk!. The second single “I Will Love Again” is currently headed towards the top ten on the international Dance charts, while receiving chart action and support on Energy FM (UK)-#10, djinthemix.com (UK)-#11, Time FM (UK)-#15, #17 Fire FM (UK)-#15, Galaxy, etc and also features a video by Marc Debruyne, which is currently in rotation on BPM TV, MusiquePlus, and Q-TV.
